What is a KNAU Day Sponsorship?
KNAU Day Sponsorships are a way for you, your business, or your organization to support public radio and celebrate a birthday or anniversary, announce an event, or identify your growing business.
  • You pick the day you want - subject to availability.
  • Day Sponsor Announcements run 8 times a day, every other hour, starting at 5:30 AM on two frequencies - that's 16 messages!
  • Your announcement is 20 seconds (or less) long - that's about 20-30 words.
  • Your contribution is tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

What will my message sound like?
Here are some examples of how your KNAU Day Sponsorship could sound:
  • Today's KNAU Day Sponsor is Flagstaff Community Supported Agriculture.  Their mission is to connect the community to their food, the land and local farmers.  Shares are still available for the spring season beginning April 9th. Information at Flag C-S-A dot com.
  • Today's KNAU Day Sponsor is Keep Sedona Beautiful, honoring its Litter Lifters dedication to provide a litter-free greater Sedona for both residents and visitors to enjoy.
  • Today's KNAU Day Sponsor is Chris Twidwell, wishing listeners Happy Spring.  Thanking KNAU for picking up local news and weather after K-N-A-Z TV went off the air.
  • Today's KNAU Day Sponsors are Pat and Jerry Ellsworth, celebrating 37 years on their journey together, through both joyful and challenging times.

Frequencies

KNAU serves a huge coverage area: ranging from Kingman on the west to Ganado on the east; Grand Canyon Village and Page on the north to the fringes of the Phoenix metro area on the south. KNAU's coverage area also includes both the Navajo and Hopi Reservations.
