Final Results are in for the Democrats in CD4

The Democratic Party now knows who will run against Republican Paul Gosar in November.

Johnnie Robinson will represent the Democrats in Arizona’s new District Four.

The Prescott Courier reports that the Secretary of State’s Office has completed an  official canvass.

The results show Robinson winning the election over Mikkel Weisser by only 19 votes.

Robinson said, "The fact that it was such a small number of votes that determined the majority is a testament that every vote counts."

The final results had 10,185 votes for Robinson and 10,166 for Weisser.

Robinson will run against Republican candidate Paul Gosar in the general election..

Gosar is the current representative for CD 1, but is moving to the republican- leaning District 4..

In the primary, Gosar won nearly twice as many votes as all the Democrats combined.
