Britain to Send More Troops to Iraq

British Defense Minister Geoff Hoon announces plans to send an additional 1,200 soldiers to Iraq, bringing the total number of British forces in the country to 12,000. Critics call the deployment a reflection of bad postwar planning. But Downing Street officials say the move is based on months of discussion. Hear NPR's Guy Raz.
