Army Chefs Battle for Best-Dish Honors

K-rations were not on the menu at the Army's Culinary Arts Competition last week. Eric Niiler reports from Fort Lee, Va., where military chefs waged kitchen-battles to see who could make the tastiest and healthiest morale-boosting dishes.

Nearly 200 U.S. soldiers competed in the 30th annual competition. Several of those involved say that with the military spread across the globe, Army cooks must boost morale for combat-weary troops -- and still be able to turn out a nice souffle.
