Jeb Loy Nichols: Everyman Songwriter

Jeb Loy Nichols' quiet and unassuming folk tunes convey astonishing warmth, whisking listeners away to his home in the rural farmland of Northern Wales. With lyrics that capture loss and longing, Days Are Mighty offers an intimate portrayal of an everyman's life. In this session with host David Dye, Nichols plays music from his new album.

With airy, effortless vocals, Nichols's music has been compared to the likes of James Taylor and a young John Marty. He describes his varied tastes, explaining, "It's all a road — one connecting to the other, all of them intersecting and crossing over."
