Flagstaff, AZ – A lot of us here in northern Arizona have had an experience something like this...you're hiking along, and you spot a pot sherd, or an arrowhead. For many of us, the thought crosses our minds--should I stick it in my pocket, even though it's illegal to take artifacts from public lands? Or leave it where I found it? That simple question lies at the heart of Craig Childs' new book, Finders Keepers: A Tale of Archaeological Plunder and Obsession. Childs spoke with Arizona Public Radio's Daniel Kraker.
