Flagstaff, AZ – Northern Arizona Congresswoman Ann Kirkpatrick is in the fight of her young political career. The first term Democrat in Arizona's 1st Congressional District is facing a tough challenge from her Republican opponent, Paul Gosar. She defends her votes in favor of the stimulus package and health care reform, while trying to stake a moderate position on issues like the deficit and financial regulation. She spoke with Arizona Public Radio's Daniel Kraker.
