Governor Doug Ducey has appointed a new Director of the Arizona Department of Economic Security.
Michael Trailor has been the Director of the Arizona Department of Housing since 2010 and also worked for a real estate investment firm. Trailor replaces Tim Jeffries who Ducey fired in November following a mass firing Jeffries ordered at DES. Jeffries also allegedly threw a party with alcohol for workers who gave up job protections.
