Officials with the Hopi Tribe say the Hopi Health Center has tested more than 289 patients to date. More than 67 of those tests came back positive, with 30 of those patients from the Hopi Tribe.

The village of Songoopavi currently has the most confirmed positive cases of COVID-19, with 9 reported. Hopi officials urge the community to help slow the spread of the virus by frequently washing hands and avoiding large family gatherings if possible, especially if it includes people other than those in the immediate household.
