Actress Joely Fisher is among a growing number of celebrities to donate emergency supplies to the Navajo Nation during the COVID-19 pandemic. Joely is part of a coordinated effort to provide bags of dog and cat food to homes across the Nation.

The acress joined forces with the organization Protect the Sacred, Nestle Purina, the Arizona Army National Guard, the Navajo Department of Justice and the Navajo Nation Attorney's Office. This week, the Arizona Army National Guard delivered two truckloads of pet food to Window Rock from Nestle Purina in Flagstaff. Navajo Nation President Jonathan Nez and Vice President Myron Lizer say pets are part of many peoples' families, and the tribe is "grateful for the contributions, love and support."
