Flagstaff Organizations Sign Pledge On Reopening During Pandemic

Melissa Sevigny

Almost 30 organizations in Flagstaff have signed a pledge to follow science-based guidelines on when and how to reopen during the coronavirus pandemic.

In a press release from the Flagstaff Arts Council, the organizations promised to reopen their doors to the public again only when they are able to implement evidence-based reopening procedures, to collaborate and share best health practices, and to share a "common uplifting message."

Lowell Observatory, the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra, the Museum of Northern Arizona, and other arts, culture, science, and faith organizations signed the pledge: https://flagartscouncil.org/covid/
