Pine Hollow Fire Burns East of Kanab

Fire crews continue to make progress on the Pine Hollow Fire burning on the Arizona-Utah border.

The fire has so far burned nearly 12 thousand acres of brush, grass and woodland habitat. The Spectrum newspaper in St. George, Utah reports that Bureau of Land Management offices in Utah and Arizona were threatened by the blaze, which is burning about 20 miles east of Kanab. At least 8 fire crews, 6 helicopters and 20 engines are working the scene.
