Coconino County To Move COVID-19 Testing Site To CCC

AP, file

Coconino County officials will move the Fort Tuthill COVID-19 testing site to a new location in order to expand vaccinations there.

Beginning Saturday, testing will take place at Coconino Community College’s Lone Tree Road campus. Saliva testing is also available by appointment at the Northern Arizona University field house Monday through Saturday.

County officials say they’re ready to double the pace of immunizations but are awaiting more doses from the federal government. To date, Coconino County has received nearly 15,000 vaccine doses and administered more than 10,000. All first-dose appointments in the county are currently booked.
