Williams, AZ – Over 200 people packed the Williams Elementary/Middle School auditorium to voice their opinions and hear forest officials answer questions.
Marty Schram, district ranger of the William's Ranger District apologized to the crowd in her opening remarks.
The crowd was fairly calm and many people expressed gratitude for the way the fire was handled. However, some residents did voice concerns.
Doug Peters was evacuated from his home due to the blaze and says he feels the situation was handled with care.
Forest officials say there are no plans for any controlled burns in the near future. And they say they'll continue to asses the Twin Fire in order to prevent an event like this from happening again.
