Fire restrictions begin Wednesday at four national forests around Arizona.

Campfire and smoking restrictions will be enforced on the Coconino, Kaibab, Prescott and Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests.

Fires, campfires, charcoal, coal and wood stoves are allowed under the restrictions only in developed campgrounds managed by concessionaires or have campground hosts.

The restrictions also limit smoking to within enclosed vehicles or buildings or in developed campgrounds.

The Democratic National Committee, the Arizona Democratic Party and Hillary Clinton's campaign are expanding their challenge over voting rights to Arizona in the wake of its troubled presidential primary.

Clinton has made voter suppression and ballot laws in Republican-led states a centerpiece of her campaign as she rallies her base in the 2016 White House race.

Her campaign and Democrats plan to file a lawsuit aiming to force changes in how the state runs its elections.

Northern Arizona University President Rita Cheng is urging the campus to unite in the wake of last week’s deadly shooting involving students. As part of the effort, NAU is hosting a campus walk today. Students, staff, faculty and community members are invited to join, as an act of solidarity.

“As we begin a new week on campus, the events that took place on Friday continue to weigh heavy on our minds,” wrote Cheng in a campus-wide e-mail. “We have experienced a terrible tragedy that has left us all in a state of shock.”

An Instragram account believed to be that of the NAU campus shooting suspect shows him posing with various firearms. Photos from the account named “_steven_jones”, shows what appears to be 18-year-old freshman Steven Jones holding a shotgun while wearing American flag attire, and another fully automatic gun.

The photos were pulled from Instgram Friday morning following the shooting that left one dead and three injured on the NAU campus.
