In Arizona, 234 presumptive positive cases of COVID-19 have been reported as of late Monday. The Arizona Department of Health Services had reported 82 new cases Monday afternoon.

In Utah, 257 presumed positive cases of the new Coronavirus had been reported through Monday. A Utah congressman has been hospitalized and a state lawmaker was diagnosed with the disease over the weekend.

In New Mexico, Health officials say eight more people have tested positive for the coronavirus, pushing the total to 65 in that state.

Health officials say two more people have died of the coronavirus in the Las Vegas area, bringing to four the number of deaths in Nevada. Nevada casinos remain closed, most stores were shuttered, popular scenic areas were gated and the control tower at usually busy McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas are still idled to slow the spread of Coronavirus in the Silver State.

In California, there have been more than 2,000 presumed positive cases of COVID-19 with at least 43 deaths as health officials reported Monday morning.
