Flagstaff Police say a man threatened several people with a knife in the woods near the base of Mt. Elden Sunday.
Multiple law enforcement agencies spent several hours searching for the suspect who reportedly chased hikers on area trails but were unsuccessful in finding him. A Department of Public Safety helicopter also aided in the search.
The suspect is described as Hispanic or Native American, in his 20s, about 6 feet tall, 140 pounds with shoulder length straight brown hair. He was last seen wearing olive green or tan shirt and shorts. Police still urge caution for people near the base of Mt. Elden.
