Flagstaff Police: Two Recent Deaths Likely Weather-Related

@lisa__likes_to_travel on Instagram

Flagstaff Police say a pair of unrelated deaths appear to have been caused by exposure to the cold.

Police responded to two calls last week of unresponsive individuals.

A department release identifies the deceased as 49-year-old George Toldeo and 68-year-old Paul Zilth Jr.

Police say both deaths are under investigation, though neither instance appears suspicious.

Extreme weather and severe cold are believed to be constributing factors, and a department release says both individuals were found partially covered in snow.

The department asks the public to call its non-emergency phone number or area service providers such as Flagstaff Shelter Services, Catholic Social Services or Sunshine Rescue Mission if they see someone who may be in need of assistance.
