Hopi Tribe

Officials with the Hopi Tribe are searching for a missing man from the First Mesa Consolidated Villages.

Ambrose Sinquah, who also goes by the name "Moe", was last seen on September 28, 2020. According to a statement, he was last seen walking near the Indian Health Service Housing area in Keams Canyon within the Hopi Nation. Sinquah’s family has launched a volunteer-led search. The search is currently focused in an area near Navajo and Hopi land boundaries. The Navajo Nation is assisting with volunteers, ATV's and drones. They’ve found several key items and have contacted the FBI, but still have not seen Sinquah. He is described as 5'11", dark brown hair and eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark colored shirt, blue or black, and a pair of jeans. Sinquah has a scar on the left side of his face, according to the statement. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to contact First Mesa Consolidated Villages, 928-737-2670.
