Navajo Nation leaders have re-issued a stay-at-home order to help slow the spread of coronavirus.

The order requires all Navajo Nation residents to limit movement inside and outside of their communities and only leave their residences for essential activities. A nightly curfew also remains in place on the reservation along with public mask requirements and other restrictions. Another 57-hour curfew will also be in effect this weekend. The tribe reported 74 new cases of COVID-19, Monday, and no recent deaths from the virus. The tribe has tested nearly 60,000 people, which is almost 35 percent of the reservation’s population.
