Phoenix, AZ – Palin has defended the governor's decision to sign the new
immigration law. And she supports Brewer's appeal of a federal
court injunction barring some of the provisions from being
enforced. The former Alaska governor made her point succintly
Sunday on Fox News.
(Jan Brewer has the cojones the president does not have to look
out for all Americans, not just Arizonans, but all Americans in
this desire of ours to secure our borders and allow legal
immigration to help build this country as was the purpose of
immigration laws.)
Brewer seemed bemused by the reference.
((Laughter) Well, I don't know. She's certainly entitled to her
opinion. She of course, wasn't the first one who has said that.
People have mentioned that to me on my Facebook and on my
encounters through the state of Arizona.)
But what does she personally think of comparisons of her own
cojones with that of the president?
(I'm not going to comment on that.)
Brewer said, though, the comments simply reflect that fact that
Arizonans, in her words, are not quitters. For Arizona Public
Radio this is Howard Fischer.
