Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey touted the state's economic comeback and promised more is on the way as he addressed business leaders in advance of the upcoming legislative session.

Arizona's unemployment rate dropped a tenth of a percentage point to 4.7% in November following an increase of over 34,000 jobs during the month.

Moody’s Investors Service has upgraded Arizona’s credit rating to its second-highest level.

State economic analysts report that Arizona’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate slipped to 4.8 percent in October, down from 4.9 percent in September, as nonfarm employment rose by 31,600 jobs.

Arizona's jobless rate has dropped again.

The state Office of Economic Opportunity reports the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for September was 4.5 percent. That's down from 5 percent in August.
