31 Bison From Grand Canyon's North Rim Relocated

The National Park Service has transferred 31 bison from Grand Canyon to the InterTribal Buffalo Council who will take to join the herd with the Quapaw tribe in Oklahoma.

In the two years since the Grand Canyon approved a plan to reduce the number of bison roaming in the national park, the herd has only grown in size.
