Officials with the National Park Service report a fatality at the Colorado River Overlook near Page.
Dispatchers at Glen Canyon National Recreation Area received a report Sunday of a person falling off a cliff overlook near the dam. Witnesses say the victim was on top of the rim taking pictures when he fell approximately 100 feet, then slid for another 150. Rescue teams with the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office rappelled to the victim where he was confirmed deceased. The victim has been identified as 25 year old Orlando Serrano-Arzola of Phoenix.
