A poorly organized series of storms will bring periods of rain and snow showers to the region beginning Wednesday evening into Saturday morning. Forecast snow and rain amounts have trended downward, and warmer, with snow only for elevations above 6000’. Current expectations are for up to an inch of snow Wednesday night into Thursday, and a couple more inches Thursday night into Friday, then showers quickly wind down Saturday morning. Lower elevations are looking at roughly a quarter inch of rainfall.
