Loudon Wainwright III: 'Strange Weirdo'

Loudon Wainwright III pours wry humor, angst and piercing insight into his lyrics, taking audiences on an emotional journey. A past Grammy nominee, he's recorded more than 20 albums and has frequently composed work for other artists. His songs have been performed by Johnny Cash, Earl Scruggs, Kate & Anna McGarrigle and, most recently, his son Rufus Wainwright. In addition to his album releases, Wainwright is an actor, and has also penned topical songs for NPR, The New York Times and ABC's Nightline.

Loudon's new album, Strange Weirdos: Music from and Inspired by the Film Knocked Up, came out this past summer.
