Horse Feathers On World Cafe

A product of Portland, Oregon's thriving open-mic scene, Justin Ringle leads Horse Feathers, a folk-pop band that exudes quiet intensity in a session at WXPN. After the departure of talented multi-instrumentalist Peter Broderick, Ringle solidified a group of musicians to tour and record the band's new album, Thistled Spring. The strings and accordions sound remarkably lush, while Ringle's stories remain chilling and poignant.
