No 'I' In 'Team': Yale-Harvard Game Makes QB Choose

CORNISH: Or the opportunity to fight for the team?

Yale quarterback Patrick Witt decided to take to field yesterday to battle arch-rival Harvard. He had to withdraw his application for a Rhodes Scholarship since the interview was scheduled for the same time as the big game. And bad luck for Witt, Harvard beat Yale 45-to-7. As for the scholarship, Witt can apply again after he graduates. And besides, one of the criteria for Rhodes scholars is devotion to duty.
