Arizona Philharmonic Presents “Performance Prelude: In the Artist’s Words”

Arizona Philharmonic Presents “Performance Prelude: In the Artist’s Words”

Arizona Philharmonic invites audiences to Performance Prelude: In the Artist’s Words, an interactive pre-concert experience connected to the upcoming Valentine’s weekend performance, Singing from the Heart: Arias, Lieder, and Romantic Strings (Sunday, February 15).

Hosted by soprano Ariana Iniguez, who will appear as the featured soloist in the February 15 concert, this welcoming event offers insight into the music, themes, and artistry behind the program. Ariana will share what it means to prepare and perform art songs and arias, discuss the emotional storytelling within the repertoire, and highlight what audiences can listen for during the concert.

Designed for both longtime concertgoers and newcomers, Performance Prelude provides a deeper understanding of the music while creating a relaxed space for conversation and connection. Guests will have the opportunity to ask questions, meet fellow music lovers, and spend time with Arizona Philharmonic volunteers and board members.

Light food and wine will be provided, along with time to enjoy the gallery at Mountain Artists Guild.
