Author Event: Dora Rodriguez

Author Event: Dora Rodriguez

Author Event: Dora Rodriguez presents a memoir, "Dora, A Daughter of Unforgiving Terrain"

We are thrilled to welcome Dora Rodriguez, Author, Survivor, Humanitarian, Grandmother, Migrant Rights Activist. Dora is one of only thirteen survivors of a harrowing 1980 desert crossing through Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument, fleeing El Salvador's civil war.

Just 19 years old, Dora fled political violence in search of safety – only to face new dangers along the migrant trail. Now Founder and Director of Salavision, Dora sheds light on the brutal realities of forced migration – and the strength it takes to survive, rebuild, and serve others.

Book presentation, reading, Q&A, and discussion.

Co-sponsored by The Art Hive, Prescott Indivisible, Peregrine Book Company, Alianza, and Prescott Peacebuilders
