'Bonjour Tristesse' Film Premiere

'Bonjour Tristesse' Film Premiere

The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the Northern Arizona premiere of “Bonjour Tristesse” showing May 2-7 at the Mary D. Fisher and Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatres.

At the height of summer, 18-year-old Cécile (Lily McInerny) is relaxing by the French seaside with her father (Claes Bang) and falling in love with her new boyfriend. The arrival of her late mother’s enigmatic friend (Chloë Sevigny) turns her world upside down.

“Bonjour Tristesse” is a modern take on Françoise Sagan’s unforgettable coming-of-age novel. The film premiered to critical and audience acclaim at the Toronto International Film Festival.

“A complex tale of female relationships.” — Deadline Hollywood

“Lily McInerny proves herself as an up-and-comer to watch.” — Exclaim!

“Chloë Sevigny anchors the impressive debut film by Durga Chew-Bose.” — Vanity Fair
