CoffeeHouse Concert: Eric Douglas

CoffeeHouse Concert: Eric Douglas

At this month's Coffeehouse Concert, enjoy the music of Eric Douglas, a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who paints an American landscape with songs from the Southwestern desert, the Great Plains, and the open road. With the muses of Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan, and Bruce Springsteen running through his pen, Eric sings with the voices of the auto worker and the road-weary, the veteran and the immigrant, of people finding their place in the world for better or for worse. His performances are engaging and intimate, as Eric shares the stories behind the characters and settings, weaving a common thread throughout the songs. Coffeehouse Concerts showcases local and regional talent with an emphasis on original music. The series features a variety of acoustic, contemporary, and traditional styles of music. Coffeehouse Concerts are arranged and hosted by Jo Berger and presented with funding from the Friends of the Prescott Public Library.
