Community Development Block Grant Community Meeting

Community Development Block Grant Community Meeting

Help shape your community! The City of Flagstaff is seeking input on the upcoming Consolidated Plan that will outline the goals for the next five years of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds as well as next year’s Annual Action Plan that determines what projects and activities are funded for that year. Based on prior allocations, the City anticipates receiving approximately $656,638 in CDBG funds for Program Year 2026, covering July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. CDBG funds can be used for neighborhood revitalization, public facilities, infrastructure improvements, public services, and economic opportunities for low- and moderate- income persons and target neighborhoods.

Join us in the City Council Chambers on Thursday, January 29th at 11 AM to learn about CDBG and how you can participate in the 2026 funding cycle and the 2026-2030 Consolidated Plan. This meeting will cover:

-Available funding and eligible activities under the grant.
-City Council priorities for project selection.
-The proposal process for submitting project ideas.
