Film Event: "Gather" is an intimate portrait of the revival of Native Foodways. A New York Times Critics' Pick!

Gather is an intimate portrait of Native American foodways and their importance to the spiritual, political, and cultural vitality of indigenous peoples. Inspiring stories of the native food renaissance include Nephi Craig, a chef from the White Mountain Apache Nation (Arizona), opening an indigenous café as a nutritional recovery clinic. This presentation is part of the "Creating a Community Food System" film series sponsored by Flagstaff College and Communiversity in partnership with Flagstaff food organizations and the City of Flagstaff Sustainability Office.
