Flagstaff Rising – Dance Festival

Flagstaff Rising – Dance Festival

Two years of a pandemic has consequences, and in the dance world, we are rising from the ashes of online performances, zoom rehearsals, pop-up outdoor shows, and other challenges. The one thing we know is that dance will persevere. This concert celebrates those achievements and the re-birth of live performance. Local and regional dancers will be presenting dances. Donations can be made online, at the door via Venmo and cash. Performing groups include Canyon Movement Company, Velocity Dance Company, Human Nature Dance Theatre, and Ahlers Dance. CaZo Dance from Mesa is making an encore performance. Monsoon Sisters, and solo artists Elisa Reed and Nadine Geissler will also be included. More information can be obtained on www.canyonmovementcompany.org or https://www.facebook.com/canyonmovement/ https://fb.me/e/3g9A7FcCJ This program is sponsored in part by the City of Flagstaff and Creative Flagstaff, the Arizona Community Foundation, and the Arizona Commission on the Arts with funds from the National Endowment for the Arts.
