Granite Creek Bird Walk with Eric Moore

Granite Creek Bird Walk with Eric Moore

Begin your morning with birdsong and fresh air on a guided walk along Granite Creek. We’ll take a relaxed stroll through the riparian corridor of Granite Creek Park and nearby areas, which are great spots to see a variety of local and migratory birds in spring.

We’ll meet at the Natural History Institute at 6:45 AM and start our walk together from 7:00 to 9:00 AM. Everyone is welcome, whether you’re new to birding or hoping to improve your skills.

Local birding expert Eric Moore, owner of The Lookout (formerly Jay’s Bird Barn), will lead the walk. Eric has spent decades helping people connect with birds, from his time with the Audubon Society to leading walks and writing a long-running bird column in the Prescott Courier.

Please bring binoculars and water. If you’d like to borrow binoculars, just let us know. Join us to discover the birds of Granite Creek and connect more deeply with nature.
