Arizona author Julie Morrison presents her book Barbed: A Memoir, a book written and published by Arizonans whose events took place in the Coconino National Forest. Our 90 minute session will include a brief reading, a presentation of Julie’s journey from rancher to writer, and time for an open discussion of raising cattle, horses, and books in a northern Arizona environment. Come hear how a horsewoman transitioned from aspiring author to award-winning writer and poet via resources and mentors in southern, central, and northern Arizona.
