Lecture Series: The Life & Legacy of Sharlot M. Hall

Lecture Series: The Life & Legacy of Sharlot M. Hall

Ever wonder how the Sharlot Hall Museum received its name? Learn about the trailblazing woman, Sharlot M. Hall, and her life’s adventures that led her to opening the Gubernatorial Museum in the original Governor’s Mansion in Prescott, Arizona. Prolific for her time, Sharlot was both a historian and an activist who realized the need for and importance of preserving western and pioneer history. This presentation will highlight her adventures across the territory of Arizona and how her legacy lives on today.

Bailey Cacciatore is the Curator of Education at Sharlot Hall Museum. Entering her second year at the Sharlot Hall Museum, and as a third generation Arizona native, she understands the need to preserve Arizona’s history just as Sharlot herself did.
