Let's Anime: Barefoot Gen, 1983
Barefoot Gen is a story that shows the effects of the atomic bomb that the United States dropped on Hiroshima in 1945 during WWII. The story follows a young boy and his struggle to survive in the aftermath of the bomb and is a powerful statement against war. Dr. Paul Droubie, a history professor from Manhattan College, will be speaking about the film and answering audience questions.
