New School Facilities Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening
Yavapai County School Superintendent, Steve King, and Yavapai County Supervisor, Nikki Check, will speak at the ribbon-cutting ceremony for expanded facilities at Desert Star Community School followed by new buildings tours, refreshments, and activities for children. Desert Star Community School is an AWSNA Waldorf-inspired charter school that has served the Verde Valley since 2006. Members of the community are welcome to attend and help celebrate new horizons for education in our region.
