Prescott Writers: Properly Preparing the Inside of Your Novel

Prescott Writers: Properly Preparing the Inside of Your Novel

Every published novel has certain formatting expectations before it is ready for publication. Learn about industry-accepted formatting for novels including specifics for common genres. Attendees will explore front and back matter, content, page layout, editing, commonly used fonts and font sizes for novels, line spacing, table of contents, and much more. Jan Bear has worked as a copy editor for a large newspaper for more than two decades. During that time, she won several awards for book layouts. Jan now works as a freelance editor and interior book designer.   Prescott Writers is hosted by Central Arizona Writers and presented with funding from the Friends of the Prescott Public Library.
