Riordan Mansion Lunchtime Lecture: Resilience: Woman in Flagstaff’s Past and Present
Riordan Mansion Lunchtime Lecture: Resilience: Woman in Flagstaff’s Past and Present
Resilience: Women in Flagstaff’s Past and Present tells the stories of local women from the 1880s to today who have overcome personal hardship, adverse environments, painful legacies, and economic woes. Stories about building and rebuilding their lives in the face of adversity speak to their resourcefulness, perseverance, and the determination that has held our community together.
For a long time, the voices of women and minorities in Flagstaff have not been preserved in the official archives of knowledge. This presentation is based on the Resilience exhibit that recovers forgotten histories and honors the lives of women in the present.
Space is limited. Reserve your spot online at https://azstateparks.com/reserve/Activities/Search.aspx or call 928-779-4395 for additional information and same day availability. The presentation will be free thanks to Riordan Action Network.
