APS has shut down power to areas of Flagstaff and Grand Canyon due to high wildfire risk. KPUB is operating normally on generator power. KNAU is operating at low power. on 88.7 in Flagstaff. On-air service in Kingman, Payson and Show Low will be unavailable during this APS outage. Grand Canyon is also off the air. Streaming is not affected. There is no estimate at this time as to when APS will restore power to the area. Thank you for your patience.

Science Saturday: Earth and Planetary Science

Join Willow Bend, Lowell Observatory, and Meteor Crater Education Alliance for an out of this world, family-friendly event! Featuring earth & space-themed activities, eye-opening demonstrations, and stellar crafts. Free, drop-in style event.

Science Saturday is an event held on the first Saturday of every month from 9:30am-11:30am. Each month is focused on a different theme and each event offers fun and educational hands-on activities. Artists, scientists, and experts join us on occasion to provide extra special opportunities to learn and explore. There is no need to RSVP and the events are drop-in format.

Thanks to generous funding from Flagstaff365, Creative Flagstaff and the City of Flagstaff BBB Revenues, this event is free and open to the public.
