September 11th Day of Service & Remembrance: Flag Memorial Field Set Up

September 11th Day of Service & Remembrance: Flag Memorial Field Set Up

Join NAU's Center for Service and Volunteerism to set up the 9/11 Flag Memorial Field to honor the 2,997 people who lost their lives on 9/11/2001 and later as a result of their injuries. We set up the flags at Flagstaff City Hall's lawn as a visual representation of the lives lost, sacrifices made, and a place to reflect on the events of that day. Join for either the memorial set-up on 9/10 from 5-7pm or for the take down on 9/11, also from 5-7pm.

This is a family-friendly event and children are invited to participate. Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes that allow you to move easily and place the flags in the ground.
