'Serious People' Film Premiere

'Serious People' Film Premiere

The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the Northern Arizona premiere of “Serious People” showing Dec. 26-30 at the Mary D. Fisher and Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatres.

A successful music video director and expectant father pushes his work/life balance to the extreme when he can't pass up the job of a lifetime and hires a doppelgänger to work in his stead.

“Serious People” is a fresh and authentic comedy that explores what it means to be a "director" and a parent — and the replaceability of people in clout-heavy Los Angeles.

“Wildly funny.” — Los Angeles Times

“Charming as hell … seriously funny.” — Cinapse

“Hilarious feature debut.” — Entertainment Weekly

“Serious People” will be shown at the Mary D. Fisher and Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatres Dec. 26-30. Showtimes will be Friday and Sunday, Dec. 26 and 28 at 7:00 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 27 at 12:30 p.m.; and Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 29 and 30 at 4:00 p.m.

Tickets are $12, or $9 for Film Festival members. For tickets and more information, please call 928-282-1177. Both the theatre and film festival office are located at 2030 W. Hwy. 89A, in West Sedona. For more information, visit: www.SedonaFilmFestival.org.
