Prescott Valley Public Library in partnership with Silverkite Community Art Classes presents Intro to Colored Pencils from 10:30-11:30AM on Saturday, September 13, 2025. This is a virtual, live online art class for adults.
Unleash your creativity in Intro to Colored Pencils, a free online class designed for beginners. Explore the vibrant world of colored pencils as you learn to blend colors, build texture, and layer your way to rich, painterly effects. This hands-on workshop will walk you through essential techniques and inspire you to experiment with color in fun and accessible ways no prior experience required.

Supplies:

• -Colored Pencils (a basic set with a variety of colors)
• -Drawing or Mixed media paper (9x12 inches or similar size)
• -Blending tools (blending stump, soft cloth such as a paper towel or Q-Tip)
• -Pencil and eraser
• -Pencil Sharpener

• Optional:
• -Reference photo for inspiration
