'Sod & Stubble' Film Premiere

The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the Northern Arizona premiere of “Sod & Stubble” showing April 25-May 1 at the Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatre.

“Sod & Stubble” tells the adventures and adversities of a family pioneering on the plains of Kansas. It is the poignant and inspiring love story of Henry and Rosa “Rosie” Ise, based on the popular best-selling pioneer autobiography by John Ise.

Directed by Ken Spurgeon, “Sod & Stubble” features a stellar ensemble cast, including Bailey Chase (Homestead, Longmire), Dodie Brown (American Horror Story), Barry Corbin (Yellowstone, Funny Thing About Love), Buck Taylor (Yellowstone), Rudy Ramos (Yellowstone), Darby Hinton (Daniel Boone, Days of Our Lives) and Mary Beth McDonough (The Waltons).

“Sod & Stubble” will be shown at the Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatre April 25-May 1. Showtimes will be Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, April 25, 26, 27 and 28 at 6:30 p.m.; and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, April 29, 30 and May 1 at 3:30 p.m.
