St. Francis the Traveler with Juliet Mousseau, RSCJ
St. Francis of Assisi seriously took the call to follow in Jesus footsteps. HIs conversion launched him into preaching the Good News both near and far. Francis traveled the local region and ventured farther to share the Good News. His desire for solitude sent him into the mountains around Assisi. Church business took him to Rome, and the impulse for evangelization took him to the Holy Land in 1217, St. Francis was inspired to send Franciscans to all the world. In this workshop, we will look at some of St. Francis' travels.
