Star Talks: Bursting with Stars: Exploring Stars, Gas, and Dust with Deep Space Telescopes

Discover how stars, gas, and dust interact to shape the stellar populations within galaxies through explorations and observations made by comparing Hubble Space Telescope (HST) and James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) data with observations from existing ground-based telescopes. Dr. Hwihyun Kim is Scientist at NOIRLab (NSF National Optical Infrared Research Laboratory) located in Tucson, AZ, and Instrumentation Program Scientist at International Gemini Observatory.
