Suffrage Cantata
Through the Kitt School of Music Fund for Musical Excellence (cc: Eric Lenz), we’re hosting the Los-Angeles based choir, Vox Femina, to present a performance of Andrea Ramsey’s Suffrage Cantata. This work celebrates the movement to secure the right of women to vote. It incorporates complexity about race and is offered as a timely celebration of suffrage and encouragement to exercise that right, shortly before elections in November. This is a non-partisan performance.
